Introduction
Swimming pool equipment although often hidden away is vital to ensure the efficient, safe operation and maintenance of your pool.
Pumps and Filtration Systems
The centrepiece of the pools function is the circulating and filtration system. The pool water is circulated and fine particles such as dust, dirt etc., are removed to keep the pool clean.
We provide advice on which system and filter option, for example, sand, cartridge or DE fillers best suits your installation, and calculate the correct size required taking into account factors such as bathing loads, usage patterns, etc.
Automatic pool cleaners
Whilst the filtration system takes out the particles floating in the water, there still remains some dirt and leaves which settle on the floor of the pool. This debris can either be removed by manually vacuuming the pool or by the use of an automatic pool cleaner.
Automatic pool cleaners operate by moving randomly around the pool and removing any dirt that they may encounter. There are three types of automatic pool cleaners, suction type, pressure type or electronic.
Aqua Services will advise on which type of cleaner will best suit your particular needs depending on budget, pool location and pipe services to the pool.
