Compared to domestic pools the requirements for commercial pools are even more rigorous, because of the high number of bathers and the possible sudden variations in bathing loads.
When planning a commercial pool the following factors require consideration:
- Higher capacity filtration systems because of the increased bathing loads.
- Automatic chemical dosing systems to respond to sudden variations in bathing loads.
- Higher capacity dehumidification, air handling and heating on indoor pools.
- Durability of the finish.
- Pool surround.
- Health and safety compliance.
- Compliance with British standards and SPATA standards.
- Staff requirements.
New construction
Aqua Services are on hand to provide advice from the initial concept stage, through construction and installation, right up to completion and hand-over. In addition, we can ensure that all staff required to operate the pool and equipment are fully trained.
Refurbishments
HYdrotherapy pool
At Aqua Services, we recognise the high importance of minimising potentially costly ‘down time’ during repairs and refurbishments.
We understand that it is essential that the work is completed within a realistic agreed timetable, and will not commit to undertake any such project unless we are satisfied that we can reasonably meet the agreed timetable.
Servicing and repairs
Aqua Services will :
- Attend breakdowns as a priority.
- Train operating staff.
- Set up operating and chemical logs.
- Carry out regular microbiological testing.
- Advise on most suitable chemicals.
- Carry out routine, planned preventative maintenance.
We will endeavour to respond quickly to any breakdowns etc., as we recognise the importance of minimising the down time of any commercial pool.
