Now a very affordable luxury, spas and hot tubs come in a variety of different shapes and sizes. Spas can be made either from preformed acrylic or constructed from concrete with a tiled finish.

There are three main types of Spas:

Portable Spas

Portable spas come in a range of standard sizes and colours and are delivered complete with all the pumping and heating equipment ready plumbed.

They are made from acrylic mounted in a timber housing and are immediately ready to be filled with water and plugged directly into a standard 13amp wall socket.

• No specialist installation skill required.
• No additional plumbing, electrical or excavation work is required.
• Fully portable for inside and outside use.
• Can be transported to a new home.

Domestic In-ground Spas

In ground spas are set into the ground and add a permanent feature to your home or garden. They can be made from acrylic in standard sizes, or from reinforced concrete with a tiled finish.

• A separate plant room is required for the operating equipment.
• Skilled plumbing, electrical and excavation expertise is required.
• Spas of concrete construction enable you to specify the size and shape of your spa and to choose from the vast range of tiles or mosaics available.

Commercial Spas

The heavier bathing loads that are likely to be encountered in commercial spas require careful consideration to be given to their design and finish. Furthermore, the choice of filtration and dosing system is critical to ensure a safe bathing environment.
